Do you know why we call cable ties by a man's name in the netherlands?

Back in the nineties there was a theatre technician in Rotterdam who made cable ties (fun fact: out of old rubber tires) at a measured size using pieces of wood. He used to write his name on them during shows. His name was WillemJan Verburg and now, years later, we still call the cable ties after this man, JanWillempjes.

Because we have our own steel-, aluminum-, and woodworkshop we produce all transportation trolleys and carts ourselves. Because of this made-to-order products are more rule then exception!
